Our goal is to improve cross sector collaboration, promote positive change and bring together our fragmented industry for the benefit of all involved in construction in the region.

Gosschalks hold a number of breakfast events and attend our HTG group meetings.

They update members on all things construction law related and are available to answer any burning questions.

The Humber LEP Skills Network brings together key agencies, stakeholders and delivery partners that will provide leadership to the employment and skills agenda in the Humber. The Network will be used to cascade information about the skills plan, consult on its contents and involve providers in its delivery.

Fairness Inclusion and Respect (FIR) in Construction

The Fairness, Inclusion and Respect (FIR) programme is an industry-wide initiative that aims to make workplaces better for everyone.


The IT Trainer

The IT Trainer has worked with many members over the years, helping to put in bespoke systems and processes.

They have also carried out 1:1 training with individuals that has helped to improve productivity and efficiency.

Roy Glover helped HTG to build the website through coaching the GTO through the process of building a site from scratch.

He also supports many companies and clients on a 1:1 basis and does a lot of work remotely, which works fantastic in current times.

Making working life better for everyone in Britain

Acas gives employees and employers free, impartial advice on workplace rights, rules and best practice. We also offer training and help to resolve disputes. More about Acas.

CDM Wizard (CITB)

The CDM Wizard is a free app, available for smartphone, tablets (iOS and Android devices) and can be used on your desktop computer or laptop. It helps you to plan and organise your construction job, and work together with others involved to make sure that the work is carried out without risks to health and safety.


Hand Arm Vibration Exposure Checker (HSE)

All sites you make with Mobirise are mobile-friendly. You don't have to create a special mobile version of your site.


Risk Assessment Template and Examples (HSE)

Mobirise offers many site blocks in several themes, and though these blocks are pre-made, they are flexible.


FIR Resources

Here you can access many FREE resources to help you make sure that when you attract people to your business you look after them so they stay!

Humber Construction Hub - spare materials

If you are able to donate any spare materials or tools to the HCH then please get in touch with them.



MakerspaceHull allows anyone to explore their creativity in arts, science, technology and engineering - independently or collaboratively.

Hosted in Hull Central Library, the space has state of the art manual, digital and electronic equipment, skilled staff providing support and workshops, as well as space to create, invent, explore, learn, think and exhibit.


FREE COVID-19 e-learning course

COVID-19 Setting up and operating a safe construction site is aimed at site managers and supervisors who are required to set up and operate a construction site during a pandemic. Its content though is applicable to anyone who works in, or interacts with construction sites.

This course will help to prepare you for managing the health, safety and environmental aspects of a construction site during a pandemic.

Supply Chain Sustainability School

How do we positively affect businesses?

The School works together with its Partners and members to provide an online and in-person community improving the knowledge of the built environment sector.

ALL the resources and workshops are FREE and you can set up a Learning Management System for your company to allocate learning to employees

Supported internships enable you to access trained, enthusiastic employees at no cost to yourself. Break down barriers to employing people with disabilities, with full support, whilst developing a diverse and positive workforce.


Lighthouse Club

We are the only charity that provides financial and emotional support to the construction community and their families who have suffered an injury or long term illness or simply need a helping hand. We receive no public funding and rely on the generosity of those within in the industry to help us continue our vital work. Shocking statistics show that there is still much work to be done to improve the safety and emotional wellbeing of our construction community, but we can only do that with your support

The NGA Personal Development Club exists for one simple reason, to help you get better at what you do, every day.

The video tutorials will take no more than 7 to 10 minutes. You will be able to practice skills needed to;
