Sam Hind, Group Training Manager of the Humber Training Group is available to help with all your training and development needs of your business.
We will help and signpost you to various levels of support available in the Humber that can support your business.

To ensure that you get the most out of the systems available from CITB, make sure that you are registered with Grants and Levy online.  If you have not already done so, please click the link below and register your business.

Also if your business is 50% or more construction related you MUST be a registered employer with CITB (Construction Industry Training Board) to benefit from grants and funding available

Available Local Courses

The Humber Training Group provides members with a spreadsheet that shows all available open courses from various providers.
This also includes any HTG member discounted rates agreed with providers.
You must ensure that you confirm you are an HTG member on booking!

Skills & Training Fund

CITB-registered employers can apply for funding related to how many direct employees they have:

Employers with 1 to 49 directly employed staff can receive up to £5000.
Employers with 50 to 74 directly employed staff can receive up to £7500.
Employers with 75 to 99 directly employed staff can receive up to £10000.
Employers with between 100 and 149 directly-employed staff can receive up to £15,000.
Employers with between 150 and 199 directly-employed staff can receive up to £20,000.
Employers with between 200 and 250 directly-employed staff can receive up to £25,000.

Skills Support for the Workforce

They can offer fully-funded nationally recognised and bespoke training for small to medium enterprises (SME) in the Humber through online, classroom and workplace learning.

Specialist partners can provide training to SMEs in key sectors, including construction


Industry Card Schemes

To find out what industry card schemes are available, visit the CSCS website.  This includes all affiliated card schemes.


Online Card Checker

Currently this is still available for checking individuals' qualifications and courses.  These include NVQ's, Site Safety Plus courses and the Health Safety & Environment test.  This will eventually be replaced by the Construction Training Register (part of the CITB Training Model).
